About Me

Hi, I’m Aidan Dougan — a senior at SCAD studying Interactive Design and Game Development, with a passion for game systems, mechanics design, and creative problem solving.

I’m especially interested in how gameplay systems can shape emotion, narrative, and player experience. Whether it's building procedural environments, designing core mechanics, or developing intuitive player interactions, I’m drawn to the intersection of logic and creativity.

Right now, I’m focused on growing as a systems designer by exploring new tools, iterating on new ideas, and learning from both indie experiments and AAA principles. I love diving deep into how things work — and how they could work better.

Dough Or Die

You run a bakery by day, and an illegal underground mech arena by night. Baking living bread machines that fight to promote your brand and bakery. Balance hands-on first-person mech combat with, tactile, recipe driven baking, and business management.

Crescendo is a computer vision powered recovery platform that uses a standard laptop camera to guide, analyze, and connect at home physical therapy with real time clinical insight, improving accessibility, adherence, and long term outcomes.

Clipped is a stealth platformer where you play a rebellious collage artist ferret who sneaks through a prestigious gallery, cut pieces out of rival paintings with a magical clipping mask, and assemble them into a defiant mixed media masterpiece..

Designed onboard computing systems and human-machine interfaces for SCAD's electric vehicle prototype, bridging Unity visualization with Arduino-based physical controls and embedded systems.
